How do you say farewell to a mate? Knowing that he won't be catching up for coffee and that dry bagel or dropping over for a quick chat.

He will be sadly missed by all that had the good fortune to have known him. And remembered forever by those who called him friend. His talent would have carried him far, but his gentle soul and soaring spirit were the real gifts that he shared so unselfishly.

To say that Kevin was a true son of New Zealand would only be the half of it. He went well beyond boundaries of country or culture.

You will not be forgotten my friend. Rest well.
