Revelation

Stranded, without help, suddenly everything Lara had ever learned, whether from school, gymnastics or even camping trips became vital to her survival. For twelve days, Lara fought to survive. Trying to escape a storm, the already much changed Lara, sought shelter in a cave. Inside she found the skeletal remains of a treasure hunter. Searching his bag for anything that could be of use to her, she discovered a chalice that the relic hunter had found before he had died.

It was a revelation for Lara as she thought about what she had endured and how she had survived in order to be holding it. If she had been rescued before she had found the chalice, she likely would have returned home to the manor and lived her life as before, but, instead, Lara rescued herself. She descended from the mountain and she became a hunter of relics; searching for the unknown, the mysterious, the lost, items and locations that were believed to only exist in myth.
