Chased Again

After the Medusa Mask raid, Lara began working with Chase during her tomb raiding. Despite what he had done to her, she couldn’t deny that he was the only raider remotely as good as Lara. She also couldn’t deny that they both still had feelings for each other, but, though Chase would do anything for Lara, she was too hurt, both by his prior betrayal and Compton’s most recent, that she was not ready to bring down her walls again – it would take time. Yet Lara was making progress in forgiving Chase and trusted him to join her for one of her most important hunts – the search for Shangri-La.
